I really loved the design that Morgan came up with, but not enough attention was paid to the details. I noted that my bed was queen-sized, but the design was created for a king-sized bed. Luckily I checked the dimensions of the bench before I ordered, otherwise it would have been way longer than my bed! I ordered 3 very expensive pillows and inserts to set them side by side on the bed, as was in the image, but only 2 would fit. The sculpture elements for the dresser were shown as maybe 2-3 inches high in the design, but the actual items were 7-9 inches tall and almost as tall as the faux flower arrangement! The curtains shown were gray, but the color was 'oatmeal' and what showed up was a shade of brown, not gray. Had to return and pick a new color myself. I will likely use the service again because I liked the concept, but now I know to double check every single thing.

If you’re like me, you have a deep appreciation for good design. Working alongside Kaity, I felt a genuine commitment to pursuing good design while remaining steadfast to my budget parameters. She has warm demeanor and an impressive portfolio – for those who share a love of bohemian décor but desire some traditional elements – she’s your pick! She embraced my style seamlessly and its brilliantly reflected in living room project.
From a project perspective, she was responsive and kept the process moving well. I highly recommend her and she will be my first call for future projects.

High praise for Justin

I used Justin Ames-Davidson to design my new office space. I wanted a space that could allow me to get my computer work done, create room for creative work and have a nook for filming my wine Youtube videos and live tastings. Justin gave me all that and more in a beautiful, tasteful space that I can't wait to use. He was friendly and easy to work with and took feedback well. I highly recommend him.

Nice design, bad customer service

I liked the design concept, then placed a big order. This is where the problems began. First of all you need to know that your designer is shopping online and doesn't really know what anything looks like in real life. When items started arriving I was excited to put them together, but they looked awful. The bedding was the wrong tone and style for my room, the curtains clashed with the bedding, the lamps were blue instead of green, the tiny vase was as big as the lamp in real life and finally the rug arrived and was an awful, cheap printed thing. I requested returns fulling expecting that I would have to haul the Pottery Barn and West Elm items back to the store myself and a huge rug to UPS to ship. What I didn't expect was that it would take Havenly 3 days per return request to get me the return slips. I tried calling numerous times and they do not ever answer. I emailed and got an automatic response saying they would reply in 3-5 business days. This is completely unacceptable customer service. When ordering through Havenly they could not use my customer number for Pottery Barn/West Elm that gets me points and money back. Now I've also got the imposition of having to haul returns back to store one at a time as they get around to sending me return slips. If I had just ordered myself I could return to store easily with no delays. Also the
Returns from Wayfair could have been handled with a 5 minute online process had I ordered directly. I will not use Havenly to order anything to replace the items I'm returning because it is so slow and there's no way to reach anyone. It seems like there is one guy working every order/return/email response. I also received items before tracking was updated in the Havenly app, so don't count on that being real time either. I am so disappointed that I called and left a message asking for my happiness guarantee refund, but who knows if they will ever return my call. I'll be redesigning my room myself this weekend.

Justin is a top notch designer who I highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience with my designer! I worked with Justin, who was so spectacular at capturing my mix of styles to create the perfect space! He was also very responsive and accommodating to requests, I felt he really wanted me to have my dream space! I was a bit of a dink and didn't realize the mini didn't come with a room rendering, so moving forward I'll be doing the full instead. Justin will definitely be my go-to though for any future spaces I need designing!!

Absolutely do not recommend

Absolutely do not recommend.
There were a few red flags while working with my designer - rescheduled our call at the last minute, then forgot to call at the rescheduled time until I asked if she was still available to chat (she calls 40 min later without so much as an apology); did not listen to my needs or requests; constantly responded late to my questions and always submitted the design layout/concept/ideas literally right after the deadline.
The finished result was horrible. All she had to do was nicely design two sets of furniture but they were awful furniture that were spaced so awkwardly apart that clearly did not align with the space of my room. The layout of the space looked NOTHING like my room so I don't understand the reason for submitting all the photos, videos, and dimensions of my space.
I've used Modsy before and they used 3D and 360 view of your finished layout which looks amazing. Havenly provided just ONE picture of furniture idea for the finished layout...
Havenly may be the cheapest option but it's worth spending slightly more on a different company. I'd like to say that you get what you pay for but in this case, you get even less.

Where are my items?

This review relates only to buying products through Havenly. In early February, I purchased a number of furniture items from another company through Havenly. The expected delivery time for these was 3/8-3/22. It’s now over a week after this time frame, and I cannot get an update through Havenly. I have emailed them 3 times and only received an automatic response (a week ago, saying they’d get back to me in 1-2 days). I tried asking the seller directly about the delivery status, and they will not give me an update for products purchased through Havenly. I happened to order another large item from the same furniture company at the same time as my Havenly order, and that piece arrived weeks ago, right in the same projected time frame. It is ridiculous that I cannot get an update or even a response from Havenly about my order status. I wanted to order through Havenly to support the company and designer I used, but with service like this, I will not do it again.

Super delayed response times. Communication was really really hard
Not taking most of the feedback into account.
No options given, Basically the items I chose initially to demonstrate my inspiration and style, the designer ended up adding exactly those items without options.

Great Experience!

I absolutely love my redesigned master bedroom! Anna was so great to work with, very responsive to my questions and quick to make adjustments along the way to the final design. The entire process was easy to work through and once the orders were placed it was fun to watch the room come to life as the pieces arrived.

Amazing, thank you Erin!

My amazing experience with Havenly was all thanks to my designer, Erin. She was so kind and helpful, guiding us through every step of the process from the very start. She really took note of our inspiration and design ideas and created something even better than we could have imagined. Any feedback we shared, she quickly found alternatives and new ideas. I cannot recommend this service, or Erin, enough. We are so excited for our new living room and are so grateful to her for her awesome ideas!! Thank you Erin!!!!!

Toddler girl's bedroom

Samantha was great to work with and the process was easy. It was nice to have a back and forth even on a smaller project and she gave me lots of options.

Brianna Mannion-King was simply amazing!!! So professional throughout the whole process. She was responsive and helped me even after the design and layout have been finalized. I'm quite indecisive so I appreciate her giving me feedback when I suggest things that probably don't make sense from a design perspective. She helped me zone in on a design/look that I'm very happy with. She stuck to my budget and offered various alternatives at different price points. She was courteous and talented!
